Prime area of learning and development - Expressive Art and Design - the prime areas are the most important for children and help prepare them for school. Exploring and using media and materials This is about children exploring the world around them through a wide range of art and crafts, including music and dance. Being imaginative This is about children using their imaginations to bring the world around them alive.
