Activities for EYFS Areas of Learning

A fun way to get children learning to hold and use pens and pencils.

Ask each child to draw a few simple lines or some squiggles on a piece of paper, then each child swaps paper and they then turn the lines or squiggles into a drawing.

If the child is on their own you could draw for them.

For instance the squiggle below could become a monster:
