nope, we did try the kids when they were little but tbh they eat at least 5 a day and I'm not sure they are proven to work.

I think if one of them or me had a diagnosed deficiency then yes I would. I have taken iron and zinc in the past for anaemia and when I was ill a lot.

We don't have any supplements, I am proud of the fact that we don't and that we have a good balanced healthy diet. This time of year we eat lots of oranges, satsumas and other foods high in Vit C.

I have high strength fish oils and they do help my knees which are very creaky. If I stop taking them I notice a difference.

I used to give dd a good quality vitamin and mineral mix as her diet was awful when she was little but she's a lot better now.

I take vitamin C and zinc / echinacea in the winter if I feel a cold coming on.

    Why are you asking?

I take a high strength vitamin B supplement. Low vitamin B has been linked to hyperemesis/ morning sickness in some cases so I started taking it while trying for this baby and have carried on- and my sickness has been a hundred times better than in my last pregnancy. Might be a coincidence of course, and it could be that the anti-sickness medication I am taking might actually be working this time round, but it COULD be helping so I'm going to keep taking it for the time being!

My dd has the bassetts chewy vitamins - cant think what they are called? Anyway, she is a really really fussy eater and i am sure she doesnt get what her body needs (she will literally choose to go without whole meals then to try something she isn't sure about) and so I feel I am helping in some way by giving her these. As she has them I also give them to ds but only as dd has them really.

    I take:

    Vitamin C
    Vitamin E
    Vitamin D
    Probiotics - Acidophilus.
    Fish Oil.
    Glucosamine.
    Acai.
    Calcium, Magnesium and Zinc.
    B-Complex.
    Evening Primrose Oil.
    Garlic.

I must admit that I am probably a little addicted to vitamins. Some days I do not take -all- of the above however I always take the Probiotics.

My two year old daughter has Probiotics daily.

My five year old son has Probiotics daily and the Well-Kid Multivitamin supplement.
