    Default Herbal Remedies??

Just wondered if anyone has mindees who have herbal remedies that need giving to them while they are in your care? Do you need to complete a medicines permission form? But they aren't really medicines are they? Just wanted some opinions?

I don't but would treat exactly the same as any other medication if I did.

Yes treat them like medication - permission to give, signature when given, safe storage risk assessed etc.

I would do this too. If the child has a reaction to any of the ingredients you then have evidence that parents gave you permission to administer.

Definitely would treat them as medicine, because they are. And legally we would be in trouble if we didin't. Some can cause reactions.
