I had my daughters parents evening tonight and in her file (they have a seperate file fro LJ's) with obs in there was a double a4 sheet and the teacher has highlighted in a different colour each half term the things DD has achieved or reached. I noted them down but can only find one which is too old for the ones i look after.

They were called

Early Years Foundation Stage progression List (couldnt find but really liked this one)

And

Table 1 Foundation Stage profile statements 1-9 in 13 scales.

I really like the look of them and wanted to see if i could use them for my own mindees.

I suppose there a bit like the EYFS stages book but obviously we cant have 1 of these for each child ?

For me i found it a great way to know where DD was ?

Any ideas ? xx

They sound very much like the assessments for local authority grading...

Childminders do not do these unless we are in receipt of government funding.
