I only charge by the hour, which is £3.50, so it would be £35.00 per day, which would be £105 per week, i charge half fee's in the school holidays for term time only, so i would charge £52.50 in the school holidays
I also don't supply nappies, wipes, baby milk, baby food etc, but outings and snacks and drinks are included.

Is £50 a day about right for your area? If so then its fine. £300 a week is £60 a day so is there the difference in price in your area.

Also if you have told the parent £50 a day could you then ring them and say its now £60 - I dont think I could.

    Hi,

Im in Swindon, I have a term-time only contract (9hr a day 3 days a week) I charge an enhanced rate of £4.50ph (normal fee is £3.50ph) I don't charge a retainer to hold those days during hols.

I also ask parents to provide all wipes, nappies, food etc.

I would check with other childminders in your area to see what they are charging, you could be under selling yourself.

i would charge £45 for a 10 hour day and I'm on the london outskirts. I wouldn't charge more for a 3 day week but would charge an enhanced hourly rate for a short day.

depends where you are hon. I know not far from me £6 or even £7/hour is average so this is probably what the other local CM's are charging. However, you are not including food so maybe the other CM's have an all in price??

the other childminders do charge more than me and don't supply things which i find how do parents afford it????

im nr central london where people do charge 7ph but charge discounts for say daily or weekly.
