The way I see it, this parent needs care for the child Monday through to Friday, and I would charge for this, as this is when you need to be available.

So 5 hours (till you get back from nursery) x 5 days = 25 hours / week.

But are you on call for this child whilst they are at nursery, then I would be charging for this as well. I charge full fee for nursery hours if I drop off and collect, need to be 'on-call' or parent needs these hours for the holidays.

    Hi Zoomie,Thanxs for reply

I will not be on call for this mindee when at nursery, so they'll be no charge.

So what you are saying, I would charge for the full week mon to fri 5hours aday x 5 = 25hours aweek = £87.50 aweek.

so i'll explain to mum because she works alternate day's each week she really needs care for the child mon through to fri I will have to charge for the full week. And I'm available if she needs the day's.

If she decides to pay me monthly how would I work it out. I only work
46 weeks a year. Then I know I'm getting paid if the child/parent hol's r paid and sickness.

If you work 46 weeks a year ( and this takes into account your hols etc) then 46 x 87.50 = £4025 per year. If you want paying monthly then that is £335.42 due say the first of each month. Be careful if you go this way as if she leaves before the year is up you will have to work out exactly how many weeks you have actually worked and either invoice her or refund her depending how the figures work out. She needs to be fully aware that there may be a final invoice at the end of the agreemant.

I would say £25 per day for the 4 days so £100 per week

Do the hours on a separate piece of paper and list them as Week 1 etc and both you and the parent sign. Put the annexe in Other Information under the hours

    Hi All,
Parent came to see me today about contract, I had put it down on paper to show how I would charge for the day's I have her child and half fees for day's not used. She wasn't sure about this until she had spoken to her husband. She text me later asked me to complete contract and she'll sign it Thursday morning.

parent gives me monthly day's she works I have child 7.30 to 12.30 different day's each week please can someone tell me how I would put this in NCMA contract I will have child.

    Week 1
    Wed, Thur & Fri 7.30 til 12.30 £17.50 a day x 3 = £52.50
    Mon & Tue day's not used 1/2 payment for each day £8.75 x 2 = £17.50
    Total £70.00

    Week 2
    Wed & Thur 7.30 till 12.30 £17.50 a day x 2 = £35.00
    Mon, Tue & Fri day's not used 1/2 payment for each day £8.75 x 3 = £26.25
    Total £61.25

    Week 3
    Tue, Thur & Fri 7.30 till 12.30 £17.50 a day x 3 = £52.50
    Mon & Wed day's not used 1/2 payment for each day £8.75 x 2 = £17.50
    Total £70.00

    Week 4
    Mon, Tue, Thur & Fri 7.30 til 12.30 £17.50 a day x 4 = £70.00
    Wed day not used 1/2 payment £8.75 x 1 = £8.75
    Total £78.75

Parent will receive 4 weekly invoices at the beginning of the week for all payments to be paid weekly.
Parent agreed to this and she will give me months notice in advance for day's she needs childcare for Dec.

    Thanxs jus
