After school charges

Had an enquiry for after school care. Do you charge from when the child finishes ie 3.30 or for travelling to school. Child goes to same school as ds. Also if school holidays are not required do you charge a retainer to keep space open and how much ??

I charge £10 per day for between the hours of 3pm and 6pm. I don't charge retainers for school hols.

I charge £5 per hour for before/after school and don't charge for my travelling time. I do charge half fees for the school holidays.

Thanks guys will think how I'm going to charge parents . Already do a school run ( diff school to ds) parent pays me from 3pm school finishes 3.15. Trying to find more from ds school as two school runs are a nightmare even though good money. Been told an afterschool club is closing so hoping to get some business and not have to do two school runs. News potential

I charge £5 per hour per child and 50% of fees during the hols, although to help the parents I quite often combine all the childs hours after school and have them for a whole day or something
