PEAL training

Has any other childminder done the PEAL training - Parents, Early Years and Learning Training for Childminders.

Just had an invitation to book a place on this course. I have never heard of it. What do others think

I've not done the training but I've read the literature.

It's an interesting approach to working with parents, which is a biggie for Ofsted just now.

A lot of it is geared at Nurseries who can do so much more with parents but some of it is relevant to childminders.

Yes I have done the PEAL training. It was a good day and very interesting

Yes I have done it, in London last year. The day was really interesting but the follow up and oportunity to carry on with the Level 3 was rubbish and impossible to follow on. Worth going on the day though.
