Your activity ideas need to balance so you are using all 6 areas... maybe not every activity every day, but if you look at what you've done with the children over, say, a week, then yes, you should be able to show every area of learning and development has been met.

it's as much about understanding them all as it is about writing them down... so knowing that if you play with eg the shape sorter, you're meeting the child's needs for psr&n, if you are talking while using it, then you are covering cll, if the child is putting the shapes in the holes then he is using his fine motor skills which covers pd etc...

Planning I used to do in school was way too advanced for my mindee's so seeing yours has given me ideas.

    thank you!

useful to see how others are doing it!

i can't decide about listing the 6 areas and then the 'sub-groups' on mine , i would only use it ensure i was covering everything, but not sure i have room on my obs form for them!!!

This is fabulpous and thank you!

I am confusing myself though is there any chance I could see an example of one of the planning sheets that someone has already completed?

Do we have to fill the entire sheet each week?

Also what do we write in the first column (development matters) ? (sorry its probably obvious!)

sorry folks, this i such an old thread and I deleted a stack of attachments a while ago when the boss asked us to do so, and now I can't remember what form I had attached to this thread

I've chopped and changed my paperwork so many times that I may not even have the form I was talking about any more.

So sorry to have caused such confusion. If anyone does still have it feel free to share x
