    Default Garden ideas for grant?

I am going for an improvement grant for my garden (presently ripped to pieces by puppy) and wondered if people had lovely ideas what to do. It isn't big - 40x 15 feet ish.
So far I thought a paved circular oval for bikes etc, a sand area, mud kitchen area, water wall, grass for picnics. Corner for Wendy house.flower area. Dont want swings slides etc as park close by and like a safe garden where mindees can be unattended briefly. Any ideas for aesthetic or sensory stimulus? Or any design other than an oval pavement away from the wall on each side. Don't want it next to wall for danger of banging heads. Any pics people can upload of theirs?
Amy ideas appreciated. Feel like a novice at this!

What about some sort of awning to allow you to be out in all weathers?

PS your list is pretty comprehensive though!!!

We had a local capital grant, which we received £8000. We had artificial grass which cost £5000 and then £3000 on equipment, the grass has been a god send and garden is used all day every day, as with the grant we also purchased waterproofs for all age ranges. Good luck with your grant.
