    Default A bit stuck

    Hello

I am completing my tax return for 2010-11 and i'm a bit stuck

I have gotten up to the bit where it says:

Our records show that your 2010-11 PAYE Notice of Coding includes an adjustment for tax underpaid. Please complete the following question(s).

Underpaid tax for earlier years included in your tax code for 2010-11:£ 0.00
If this figure is not correct, select 'No' and you will be given a chance to amend it below.*

The thing is throughout 2010-11 i only earned £680 due to only having a child part time and only 16 hours a week and then having 3 children for 2 weeks.

I have no idea what underpaid tax means and what number to put in the box

could any of you lovely ladies help me please

I would give them a call on Tuesday. I am sure it can be easily sorted

I think that it is saying that you don't have any underpaid tax and they are saying it is 0 and if you think it is wrong then change it below

The HMRC are open all weekend so give them a call if you need to.

Sounds like it thinks you should put a figure in there but on what you earned you wouldn't pay any tax.

Give the HMRC a ring and see if they can help you
