Default how much time do you put through

that IS not actually Childminding ie when you have no mindees but due to your paperwork????

I don't do the EYFS yet but theres other things like network stuff im doing and other things for the kids printing out etc that I do do.

    1) How much time do you usually put through??
    2) Can I also put through the time I'm out for courses and things???

    xx

You're only allowed to put through time that the kids are actually with you.

Agreed you can only claim for the time the children are with you. Your hourly fee is suposed to cover extra hours and as siad you can claim for any expense you incur out of working hours if you are on a Chidminding related mission.

I will be going on a weekend residential course for childminding in June, as it happens it is being paid for but I could claim for travel, hotel, meals etc if not.

In November I wil probablily go to the NCMA Annual Conference in Leeds I will put through the cost of travel from London to Leeds and back, hotel, food, Conference Fees. But my time is my own.

The other thread was refering to child, family & working tax credits where you can put through all the hours you work whether you earn money or not.

The hours you claim for income tax purposes are only the hours that you actually have minded children with you. Not even the time they are contracted for the actual time you have them - so if they were all dropped late and collected early you could not claim contracted hours, just time from 1st through the door to last out the door providing that you have minded children all that time IYSWIM.
