    Default Risk Assessments

    Morning, can anyone help I have got my risk assessments that I do everyday when I have a mindee, does everyone keep them in a file or do you do them on the computer so you don't have a massive file of them, hope this makes sense TIA Helen

    I wrote one for each room in my house, the garden , using the car and outings. I review them every 6 months but I do daily ones in my head! I had ofsted a couple of weeks ago and that was fine x

    EYFS 2014 requires a clear policy for assessing risks and it also requires regular reviews (page 25 3.63)

    Some issues require a written RA to show you are managing risks, how you minimise them and which parts of the environment needs regular checks

    A bit open ended but most providers will continue with a written RA...just in case...do it online and update it as required by dating the amendments...once done that's it
