Holi is a Hindu festival and begins on the day after the full moon in the month of Phalguna, which usually falls in March. Holi is a festival which celebrates new life and the coming of Spring, although it also celebrates Holika and one's religious beliefs.
Holika is a Hindu spirt who has two sides to her character. She can be both good and evil.
Holika is connected with fire so bonfires are lit during this festival. |
