Make a community scrap book

Go for walks with the children in the local area and take a camera.

Ask the children to take photos of places, buildings, trees etc which are important to them - try not to influence them.

When you get back help the children to print the photos and put them into a scrap book ‘our local area’.

Repeat the activity with different groups of children over a few months so you build up a seasonal scrap book - trees at different times of year, ducklings, flowers or snow etc.
