WANTED FOR A VERY GOOD CAUSE...........

i know alot of us have kids, so i'm gonna be cheeky and ask if any of you have any baby/toddler books that you use to help teach kids basic words lying around gathering dust?? I'm wanting to collect some books to take to the Ukraine and I have been told that these books would be a great help for the school kids when learning basic english.................................... anyone??

yeah sure, as a teddy bear costs more than a weeks wage so many children simply do not have any

Yes teddy bears, animals etc - we have then coming out of our ears (esp dogs as DD has a thing for them

) where do you want them sent to - I feel a de cluttering session coming on

Hebs what date do you need them. am not gonna be around for a while but could ask all mindees mums if they want a clear out when I get back, plus my dd and next door for soft-toys.

If you don't get hold of many books hon try the library. Every few months ours have a book sale (of their old books) and you can usually get a carrier back full for a few pounds. Most of my equal opps books come from there and my holiday reading books.
