Just thought I'd share my happiness with you all...

Thank you! Yes Helen it is a great feeling - like a weight lifting!
I am sooo tired now.. too much excitement...
well done sarah, i've also just printed mine and posted them yesterday. It was such a relief taking them to the post office. Im on E124 now, and have registered to start E115 in Oct. Are you also doing these?
I'm stopping at E124 - OU and I do not get on I'm afraid.
I've had a tutor who put me off and I don't have childcare to get to the tutorials so I've felt very alone.
I already have my degree so I don't see much point in pushing myself like a loon for another one.
Enjoying E124 so far though!
Congratulations, Sarah!!! That's wonderful. You must be very proud of yourself.
If you already have a degree and experience in early years, have you considered doing the short-track to EYPS status?
I'm sort of half-way there. I'm working on TMA02 for E123 and 124. I cannot wait to finish them off!
Lilliuspillis, I'm enrolling for E115 starting in October, too. I'm currently down for a Foundation Degree (as that is what Transformation Fund has agreed to cover the costs of for me) but have plans to carry on for a BA (Hons).
Why is "phonics" not spelled the way it sounds?
I wondered if I should look at it but tbh I'm not sure I want the hassle - I've been reading Tunja's reports in my magazine and she's had to do management stuff and go for time away... I don't know but it seems very convoluted and I'm not sure what it will do for me in the long run...
Hmmm need to think about it more
Well done Sarah

tatia, im just waiting to hear about funding, but im pretty sure i will do the E115. Im just a bit worried about the study time. As of september i am taking on a baby full time 7-5 everyday - not too sure when i fit in studying, especially as i have four of my own children as well!
Well done Sarah
You all sound a brainy lot
Brainy or really, really stupid for taking on so much?!You all sound a brainy lot
Lilliuspillius, I leave my study materials open on the dining table and sit down for 10-15 minutes, here, 1/2 hour there, whatever I can squeeze in througout the day. I rarely have more time than that except on week ends, to spend on it. Then I have a marathon session on Saturday!

Well done for finishing all your tmas and ecas good luck i am now doing my eca for E115 and deciding on othe courses to take must be mad Stimmy
Thank you!
I admire you for getting through e115 - I've heard it described as a pile of elephant poo before now!
Hi I am now completing my eca for E115 and my advice would be to keep any information about your childminding logged in a diary that you can reflect on eg how did you work in partnership with parents this could be sharing a strategy for extending their learning at home to follow your settings plans. Any letters recieved from other agencies ie ofsted, social services, speech therapist etc this can be used as evidence within your eyclo forms so start filing now believe me it will help. any advice you need dont hesitate to contact me. Good luck Stimmy
Gosh I feel really, really thick after reading this thread!
Well done Sarah!
Yay...well done you.
