I am in the process of becoming a childminder, do i do this course before i register or does it not matter? Am thinking of doing this week.

It doesn't matter when you do it and as the discount expires on 30th November it might be best to do it sooner rather than later and get it cheap

Do you need to do the food hygiene course before you start childminding? If not when can it be done? will Ofsted need to see certificate at 6 month check or pre-reg thanks xx

In many areas it is not compulsory, however many say that you should do it to show good practice. Ofsted are looking at certificates now and from feedback I am getting will probably expect you to have done it even if it is not considered a requirement.
