hi my name is adele and im completely stuck on task 5 create a leaflet, there seems to be a lot of info that needs to be included. do you just write a small piece about each key componant, has anyone got a leaflet they could email so i could get an idea of what ive got to do?

Key components of a healthy and safe environment
• Childproof locks on cleaning cupboards.
• Plug sockets are covered and wires are out of reach.
• Always practice a hygiene routine, such as washing hands
• Risk assessments carried out on environment and equipment on a daily basis
• Gloves are used to nappy change

• No pets been allowed
• Food preparation and storage are done in the correct way and dates been checked in advance.


• Veg and non-veg meals are prepared and served with careful attention

Supervising children indoor and outdoor
It is my responsibility to keep the children safe in my care. Supervision will be carried out taking the 3 types of supervision in to consideration.

General It would be a regular supervision what the child is doing.
Close The child will be watched most of the time and will be supported only when needed.

I am just starting this task myself and find that there is loads of info to put into the leaflet and it will become more of a booklet if I put it all in! How have you got on with yours??

have you done session 1 task 2? when i read it it said to skip it and do task 3 i have wrote out my policys but not sure what im ment to do with these later or can i submit them now? and how do i contact a tutor re data protection and confidentially phone call? do i put details on word document and submit that for them to contact me?

Could really do with some help i wanted to attend the course but my baby is due right at the end of one course and the begining of another so had to choose the online option but I just dont find it very clear.
