    Default Help please

Hi everyone, I have to answer this question...

Explain why it is important to have a policy on safeguarding?

I know what I want to say but am having trouble putting pen to paper so to speak. Can anyone please give me some advice?

    Amanda x

    Hi

apart from the fact that its a welfare requirement under the eyfs, you need to be consistent in your appraoach and a policy will help you with this.
Its also gives parents the information on how you will tackle any reports from the children or what you do to protect yourself and your family.

I am sure there are a million other reasons but these seem to me to be the biggest. Good luck x

I agree, why not use/refer to the statements about safeguarding requirements in the EYFS.
