3 courses, 1 per week

I have three courses which I have to attend for my nvq.

I have looked them up and they all fall in the same month, one each week.

Do you think it will be unreasonable for me to take this time off:

week 2 - wednesday
week 3 - friday
week 4 - wednesday.

Wed and Fri are my busiest days, but it is either these dates or I can postpone the week 3 one till maybe after sept but i think that will just drag my nvq out longer.

i have in my policies that i may need to take time off, and there is more than 4 weeks notice available ????

If you are within your contract terms and explain that its a sort of "oneoff" then i would have thought your parents could be ok. Offer to help find alternative childcare too so that you are trying to help as much as possible.

is there another minder who can cover the days for you , preferably someone the children know? If so then as a parent i wouldnt mind..but I wouldnt be happy if you havent any alternatives to suggest as away from family and no back up so would really struggle.
Hopefully your parents wont mind and you can get the courses out of the way. I didnt do anything like that for mine.
