    Default Online safeguarding

Anyone know if these are 'accepted' by Ofsted?

Ours are due for renewal later this year, and they've changed the way/cost of accessing courses. This would be a better option, as both me & hubby need to do it, but don't want to waste time & money if Ofsted don't like them.

Local Pacey seem to persuade us we need to do theirs....

    Thanks. xx

IIUC your LA must approve the course. Ours actually offers its own online safeguarding refresher, just so long as you've done the classroom-based one first time around. Just a shame they don't offer anything at all for assistants.

Would pacey's "persuasion" be in any way connected to the fact they make £25.50/£30.00 each time someone is "persuaded" to do their version?

I've spent months waiting for a straight answer from pacey as to whether they will guarantee that any of their courses will be acceptable to Ofsted or my LA. I find the silence deafening.
