    Default New Enthusiastic CM x Advice of Training please

    Hi, Im recently qualified and full of enthusiasm. I am after advice on the next step to take towards a professional qualifications in chilcare. .. perhaps NVQ? Or a diploma? Xx

    Where to start, what is best course to do first etc etc to finally in time work towards nvq3 to offer funded placements? Xx

    Where to start depends on where you're starting from. Let us know and I'm sure one of the fans of what pases for "education" will be able to fill you in.

    I don't think NVQ's exist any longer. Or at least they've changed the name to Diploma cos 99% of the business world figured the old abbreviation stood for "No Value Qualification".

    No worries, I had minimal childcare experience (well, until I started adding up the hours of voluntary work, babysitting, having nephews abandoned at my lace, etc.)

    I can't even spell GCSE.
