OFSTED registration

Hi everyone, I am currently training and my course finishes early March. I'm just wondering when everyone thinks it would be a good idea to register with OFSTED, apply for medical check and DBS? I know it can take some time for it all to be processed and I'd really like to start childminding as soon as

Hi hun, I was advised to send my application in around 8 weeks before last course. Ofsted rejected it, sent it back saying not to return it until after my last course had been completed....... Once they accept it they have a deadline to stick to so they said they wanted to wait until all completed.Hope that helps x Good luck
