    Default nvq qualification

    hi im looking into becoming a childminder. my current job is working in a creche. i have a level 2 and 3 nvq qualification and was wondering if this is enough to set up as a childminder or will i have to do Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce.??

    Contact your local lea and ask for the next briefing session, it will give you all the info you need. I believe you need to do a cy pop5. I'm sure someone else will advise if I've got that wrong.

    I would think the nvq3. And the diploma are the same equivalent qualification.

    I believe the diploma is eqivilant to an nvq3.

    I only needed the nvq3 to become a nanny.

    I've heard that the diploma has now taken over the nvq3?
