CYPOP 5

Hi all,

Before I can become registered as a childminder I need to complete the CYPOP 5 course. Can anyone recommend an on-line course for this? I have seen that some people have found the NCMA course a bit confusing so I was wondering if there were any other providers that people could recommend?

I can't really recommend anything online as I did my cypop5 through my local authority last year. I really enjoyed it, my tutor was great and I made some good friends who are in the same boat as me.

Going out to the college each Thursday evening for a couple of hours was my 'me' time and I really looked forward to going! Shame the course was only 10 weeks long.

Does it have to be an online course?

I did mine with mnt training too and had no probs

Thanks for the information, I will have a look into mnt.

My local authority does not run the course and we also have to fund it ourselves. I would prefer a course that I could attend every week but I cannot find one at a college near me.

I have looked into mnt but you have complete the course within 8 weeks and I want a course where I can take my time to complete it. Has anyone tried NEC or any other provider?

I did mine through my local Authority and handed it in on Friday. If you need any help give me a shout or there's loads of help on here
