    Default Dinner in the summer

What kind of dinners do you have in the warmer weather?

DH is so fussy he does not eat fruit or salad, only just eats carrotts, runner beans, sweetcorn and broccoli... and that is only with a roast dinner when smothered in gravy!! He tried to eat bananas and bless him, he had to leave the office to eat them in his car because they made him heave

In the winter it is ok because I have been doing nice steaks, stews, casseroles etc but now it is getting warmer and I don't fancy that any more. I want to make chicken salad and wraps with salad and have more light, green stuff on my plate... I told DH I wanted a baked potatoe with grilled chicken and salad, he wanted the same but with beans and it all looks... BROWN! and heavy and yuk lol

What can I do that will satisfy us both, short of making him cook for himself at 7pm when he gets in

My DH is much the same. I have converted him to wraps though and he will have a bit of salad with lasagne

otherwise it is baked beans with everything or a choice of 3 veg that he likes with gravy

    BBQ is fine too
Happy to be back with the Greenies
