I've got pretty much everything I'm going to get. But I do it all online anyway - have done since 2000 when we lived in cyprus where shopping is lousy. Really don't get what is christmasy about being in a overheated, overcrowded shop trying to find a salesperson, then standing in a long line with bad tempered people whinging about it. Plus the stress of trying to find someone I would trust to care for my children while I do this stressful shopping, is just unthinkable.
Nothing christmasy about that in the slightest!

I start early, to be kinder to our lovely postlady, and spread it out so she doesn't have too many parcels on one day. Then I'll get a little gift for her too.

I have done all mine and wrapped them all too

The shops are starting to get busy now and I just could not stand christmas shopping now.

Went to Solihull on saturday and it was busy and I just didn't like it.

I have done and finished alot earlier than normal and don't normally have them wrapped this early.

My hubby wont even do that, luckily I do drive so can get there, I think the most I would get out of him is to drop me off in car park at shops

I don't like shopping, luckily dh does! He buys the majority every year. I just save all year round to make sure we've got the money and buy for dh and the crackers and bits and bobs

I have done all of my 3yr olds because i remember queing up out side toys r us for power rangers for my grown up children.

They would only sell one to each person and sold out within an hour so I spent 4 mornings out side at 7am

I wont do that again so I buy hers early. I havent started on any body else though.

We are living in the middle of a building site, so no where to store them even if I'd bought them.
I have bought a couple of things through groupon though but only stocking fillers for the girls.

I am going to the Christmas ideal home show next week so will try to get sone more bits There.

Sorry I've finished and started wrapping I don't mind shopping but at Xmas it's too busy and hectic then there's always the problem of "what if a certain gift us sold out" or if someone's picked the last one up before you. Some people lose their manners and push and rush and are rude .So I wrote my list and got everything on it No dissappointed people this year. Only thing is Santa list keeps getting bigger for ds's as i keep seeing more things "he" thinks they'll like. So I spent my left over money on myself to avoid temptation and bought myself a new camera x

I don't wrap till I have everything, love wrapping and do it with a glass of wine in an evening on my own

It gets harder as children become adults, trying to cut back too and everything my two would like is sooooooooo expensive. That's why I was happy DD wanted the flip camcorder, not too bad in price

well done on spending on yourself small world
