    Default sick on my rug any ideas?

    really need your help, a lo (see other thread) was sick all over my rug today and its a shaggy rug, it stinks, please help how can i get rid of the smell? i have tried washing it but no luck, please please someone have an idea of how to get rid of the smell, i love my rug and carnt afford another one at the minute, any ideas? xxxxx

    White vinegar is good on sick in the car so should work on a rug.

    Otherwise wash it a few times and hang it out to air.

    Make sure it is dried out then sprinkle bicarbonate of soda over rug - leave overnight then hoover next morning. Worth a try and very inexpensive

    wash off with vinegar or lemon with hot water
    and/or
    springle bicarbonate and hoover tomorrow

    Chalk is good at a absorbing smells. need to make sure it's clean first
