Has anyone ever had an underarm wax?

My son's girlfriend is doing a beauty course and has been asking me to go in for some treatments (so she can practice on me!) I was going to go today for false nails, but she didn't need me in the end and asked if I could go on Tuesday evening. I agreed, assuming it was for nails again, but DS said no, you can chose from an underarm wax or a bikini wax

I've settled for the underarm wax. I didn't think his girlfriend should be getting so familiar with her possible future mother-in-law's bikini area

So, does it hurt?

I first had it done years ago before I went on my Honeymoon

I did have it done a few times after but then decided shaving was just as easy.

It does sting because its a sensitive area but they pull the skin taught when they do it. It feels lovely and silky when its been done.

I also got it done for my dd because I didn't want her to shave or use creams too young.

Underarm is ALOT less painful than a bikini wax

sorry but waxing just sounds too painful to a complete wimp like me i would stick to shaving anyday.

My 11 year old has her under-arms waxed monthly & she is wussy about most things - so you should be fine!

I have never had a wax so would be interested - I find my underarm hair grows back so fast I might as well not bother shaving lol! Would be interesting to know how long it lasts for compared to shaving?

Yes it does hurt.
I used to be a beauty therapist and also a teacher and have to say it still hurts me.
Just razor now can't be dong with stubbly underarms

yes it hurts a bit i think more than the bikini,im also training & in need of models for my waxing so if you feel like some more pain come to surrey!!!! its not that bad really xxxx
