Default I have just seen THE most strangest thing......

Whilst just washing the pots and looking out the window as you do ( our kitchen is at the front of the house for some reason! ) i saw our opposite neighbour in his jamas and dressing gown sitting on his front doorstep looking sad, a few mins later along came the ice cream van which he was waiting for and cheered up !

You might ask whats strange about that but the strange bit is that this is a 60 odd year old bloke !!!

I have seen some strange things in my time but nothing like this

I think that is lovely. Such a simple pleasure in life like the ice cream man/van.

    I know how he feels

When the Ice cream van comes down our Close I get really excited and we all run out. Certainly cheers me up, must admit though haven't gone out in my jimjams yet, but I guess there is always time.

Ah bless him, perhaps he is wanting an early night and thought he would go to bed with an ice-cream instead of a cup obf warm milk as it has been so hot today??

    how sweet!

an ice-cream van comes down my street after every night, its suprising how many adults queue for ice-cream rather than kids! lol

Aw, bless him. I wish an ice cream van would come down my street! I'd be first one out

Oh and I'd love my kitchen in the front. It's an english thing ot have them at the back, isn't it? Much nicer to nose at the neighbours when washing up and hiding away in the back to watch embarrassing programmes...

aww bless him. I love a 99. Our ice-cream van stops opposite our house, I treated my own kids and older mindee to one yesterday. Usually my own children know not to ask for an ice-cream when I'm working they have to wait until the weekend but because I was particularly proud of older mindee yesterday I thought I'd treat him to one.

Maybe he is lonely and has no one to talk too? Or could just be a man thing
