Default I just had to have it

I sadly had to say goodbye to my wonderful 14 year Golden Retriever last week.

He has left a big hole in our life and Bailey, my 7 year old Lab x is miserable as sin so I went to see a breeder this morning.

Decided on this little dumpling and now need to decide on a name.

He is a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever so we are looking for Native American names.

Kilchii - is Navajo for Red Boy - pronounced Keelchee is one we thought of

Lovely looking dogs.Never heard of them before.

We lost our golden retriever 3 years ago ( absolutely devastating ! )and only now feel ready for another one.

    Yes, it's a boy.
He was more laid back than the girl that was available so thought he would suit our house better

awwww - I'm so soppy I'd call him something like mr snuggles - that's why I can't have a dog my dh would be too embarrased to call him in the park

What about "Ashkii" which simply means "boy" or Arcani which means "destined for greatness"?

We bring pup home on Saturday.

At the moment there are arguments floating over the internet (Bahamas, Kent, Surrey) as to what to call him

Some of us like Koda (short for Takoda) and some of us like Logan.
So we've got 5 days to decide.
