Today I took down everything from the walls and the paper chains and had a really good clean - the tree is the only thing left and it can wait until tonight or even tomorrow.

Our decorations will be coming down on 6th January. My mum always takes hers down on her birthday (7th Jan) so the house is still decorated for part of the day. Hx

We usually takes our down just after new years day, so probably Sunday for us. We didn't put them up till the week before Christmas, can't stand them up for too long.

Ours are coming down at the weekend. We've had such a rubbish Christmas because of the flu bug in our house (i seem to have escaped it- fingers crossed) that i can not wait to get the house clean and aired! But I must remember to get a few photos of the decorations before i strip it all away.

Have taken down the fairy lights which were dotted around the house and all the little Christmas 'nick - naks' today - the house looks bare

Tree and window lights will come down NYD.
