    firstly, hope everyone had a lovely Christmas?


    secondly - to the silly question.

    What is meant by "to the nearest day" ????

    the whole question is using the 2009 calender, calculate the number of days to your birthday, to the nearest day.....


    its silly but its boggled me :S

    weird, how else would you count the number of days to your birthday - except in days.

    I've heard, count to your birthday to the nearest week etc but if you are counting in days not many options really
    if you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always got

    My guess is that it means counting to the day before your birthday?
    Why is "phonics" not spelled the way it sounds?
