I get like this from time to time too. It helps being around other minders who can either give you a friendly kick up the bum, or a shoulder to cry on or an ear to listen. My group of minder friends recognise now when we're having one of 'those' episodes and we help drag each other out of it.

For me it's the time of the year - I'm winding down as I never work between Christmas and New Year so I'm in total cba mode

Hope you feel better soon hon - I agree with the others you are a good minder and it would be a shame if you gave up.

Ah hun you sound a bit down

I felt have felt like this and I normally sit down and do a whole load of planning, really cram packed planning (even though I know we won't do half of it) I don't know why but it makes me feel better, I get enthusiastic about my job again.

When I get lazy about it, thats when I don't like cm'ing.

It's the time of year that's got you down.
Cos this year im the same, as you know. There is more to it of course. lol
Plus neither of us have been out and about properly for weeks, due to 1 thing or another. Once this snow goes away me and mindee will be over for a visit. We are also both craving adult company!!! lol Not that having a diff job hasnt crossed my mind! But couldnt see me going through with it. Would miss most of my current mindee's too much.

Sweetie, I just wanted to say that SAD is a real and cripling condition - if you think it could be something like this that is affecting you then please see your doc. I suffer terribly throughout Sept, Oct, Nov, Dec and Jan (I take meds for PND anyway) but these months are always much worse for me. The thing is, because I know that thats what my prob is, I can get through the worst times (even tho I come on here and have a rant!!)

Please please see your doc, they are there to help and if they dont then were all here. xxx

every sunday night i watch the clock to see how many minutes earlier the light stays for ( sounds mad but there you have it)

in the past i have threaten to give up my Brownies and guides this time of year
