Oooh, exciting! Good luck! I wear contacts which I'm fine with, but my partner had laser surgery a few years ago. Unfortunately he couldn't keep his eyes shut for as long as he was supposed to (too curious) and didn't use the eye drops as often as prescribed (too scatter brained). His eyesight is much better but not 100%. He never went back for the checkup either (too busy at work for the past 4 years apparently ).
A friend of mine also had it done and she is super happy with the result. I hope it all goes well for you.

i wish i was brave enough, my eyesgight is really bad and i have been wearing glasses since i was 8 but i can't bear the idea of the op.
let me know how it goes i may go for a consultation and see how it goes
I had mine done 4 yrs ago now, because when i had my first baby i went through about 6 pairs because she kept pulling them off my head etc. It was the best thing i ever did, would reccommend to anyone.

I had it done last year. Took me a long time to pluck up the courage as I first enquired about it 15 years ago! I found the op quite traumatic because I was so nervous but its over quickly and it was so worth it I wish I'd done it much sooner.
Optical Express keep sending me vouchers to pass on, £150 off your treatment if anyone wants one pm me.
good luck gizmo
Getting it done next Saturday
Got loads of tests done today and eyesight has been really strange today because of the drops came home and slept for 2 hours, but this time next week I will no longer need glasses, and the optition thinks I will be able to see even better than I do with my glasses
Only downside its a bit more expensive than I thought but I have decided to do something just for me for a change so going for it anyway

well done, why not splash out on yourself
Hope all goes well, I am just not brave enough!
I am so tempted but fearful and at £4500 with the clinic I enquired with its eye watering expensive (excuse the pun!). Please let us know how it went for you and how long it took. Good luck
