tonights the night!

my lovely hubby and i are out tonight for a meal at a lovely restaurant. We are celebrating our 6 year "anniversary" of when we ahem...made our feelings known to each other. We had been going out for months before i even let him kiss my cheek!

So here i am ...on t'internet, oh is killing zombies on xbox and we are hungry already...and knackered...i dont think we will be able to wait until 8.30pm....we will be ready for bed by then

Oh dear.....

We got to the restaurant and were shown to our table.

Looked at the menu and ordered.

Then i looked round and saw my grans doppleganger (gran died a short while ago) and as i am very hormonal i had a little weep. Only OH noticed...he was very sweet.

Our food came...and i couldnt see any of it. The table was so dark. ther was a candle but i was letting off fumes making my eyes sore. I had ordered a steak...yumm i thought. It was chewy and all i could taste was the chargrilled surface...and i CANNOT STAND anything bbq'd or bbq tasting. So i couldnt eat it. OH had some and he said it just tasted burned and was chewy.

I nipped to the loo and....my IBS decided to make an appearance so i spent 30 mins there whilst poor hubby was wondering what had happened to me. he ended up paying and going to the car thinking i was outside getting some air.

We went home...got into bed...watched 10 mins of dave tv and fell asleep.

very disappointed

so to cheer me up OH has taken me to Bridgemere garden centre, bought me my lunch and a new parasol for the garden

Ohhh dear, some things just dont work out as planned do they
