Default Key stage two assessments- proud mummy

Ds has come home saying so far he has come top in three out of four of his tests ( not heard about fourth yet) and got another one after half term. Does anyone know anymore about these tests not had anything from school and googling doesn't say much unless I'm looking in the wrong place. I know it assesses how children are doing ie above average etc.

So proud of him though just wish we were told a bit more and if school send this info home so we can see how he's done etc without just getting info off him...

Is that the Yr6 SATS (or sardine and t**d sandwhich ) as called here?

Or other years from 1-5 also do SATS but are not really registered as such.

    Well done anyway.
    Come back David....

he's yr 2 so starts juniors September . So proud as he is the youngest in his yr ( 31st august) some children in yr below turn same age a couple of weeks later and his friends turn a year older the same time so when he turns 7 a couple of weeks later his mates turn 8. So like I say soooo proud as baby of the class.

    Well done to him!
Although isn't it key stage one? Key stage two tests are taken at the end of year 6, before secondary school.

DD's school aim for a level 3 (which is above average for end of yr 2), they sent a report home at the end of term with the results. They don't tell the children the results at DD's school.

His letter said key stage 2 assessments so not sure about the yr6 thing sorry . I was quite shocked when he said teacher stood up and told everyone what they all got as your not quite sure how children may be towards one another but just found a website that says a report will come home. Sorry if I've confused anyone by saying ks2 if it's something else this is just what ds's letter said. At the end of the day I'm just so so proud youngest in year/class and top of the class puts all my worries about how he's coping alongside peers despite being told at every parents evening he's bright child and his age is not keeping him back
