    Default went shopping for a...

    laptop for hubby....and came back with one for me too
    i can laugh about it now but hubbys still sweating we got about £1000 worth of laptops for £750 after haggling!!

    well chuffed...was worried about using windows 7 but it seems quite easy...have yet to find the sticky pads on mine but have found it on hubbys

    yay me...just got to stop playing the games on it now and get my work done

    I was looking at laptops today too in PC world on Sweetbriar Ind Estate as dd's battery has died but apparently I have to contact Sony direct for a new one! Keep yearning for a Macbook though!

    macbook...arent they fab... i was dribbling over the mac book mini or something with a monitor the size of our lounge telly lol

    yes ...but only one. i am in a forgiving mood.

    What did you get?....DD#2 wants one (would be great cos she is always on this pc)

    wohoo my first macca pacca first of many more no doubt lol

    i got a little acer netbook £240 nothing major as i dont need all the latest stuff but has got a webcam which ive stuck black tape over as they freak me out
    hubby was the one with the expensive one for his photography lol

    DD wanted a Dell...in red. But we have looked at the Acer ones that are about £400. she has saved up for a year and has got £250...so i think we will have to make it up!

    i nearly bought the red dell good offer too at pc world £100 off
    i couldnt justify that for my needs though, dd done well saving ll that bless her

    weve been offered an ict grant with laptop, printer, camera and 12 mths internet through LEA and capital grant, it will have windows 7 and im hoping it's easy to use, i hate new technology im glad with the package tho
