yahoo email accounts

does anyone know how to delete these accounts?
ive got one i never use anymore and my older brother just emailed to say it keeps sending him emails for viagra

tbh, you are gonna get that from all email clients...it's not yahoo but the companies that send them.

not sure how to delete yahoo sorry not tried.

Can you get into it and change the password to something else? I had a prob with my hotmail and that worked. Something unrelated to the rest of the email address.

have got into the account and checked all my sent messages theres loads about viagra?
sent to all my old contacts...an ex boyfriend

...no one has replied though

have now deleted all the contacts and emptied all the inboxes etc, changed the password
fingers crossed

most yahoo hotmail aol accounts get hijacked a t some point - this is what has happened and you've done what you should do which is change the password. there is something on the page somewhere to close the account if you want to - i did it a while go. but cant quite remember...

It could be email spoofing and something that will continue even if you delete the account - this article explains it quite well:
