Ours break up this Friday (26th) or at least I think they do

Ours break up on 31st March and return to school on 19th April.

No school run for me on 19th though as I'll be in Las Vegas........

The local school I pick up from finish on thurs 1st, but I do have mindees who come in school hols from a different county, so you got me thinking now

Mine finish on Tues 30th.(inset on the Wed) Back on 19th April.

Mine break up 1st April for 2 weeks and i'm off to the LAke District the 3rd April for a week.

Ooooh sore point at the mo - booked and paid for our hols for 28th March for 2 weeks but only on Frday realised THEYRE NOT OFF TILL THE FOLLOWING WEEK- OOOPS - have put last minute holiday requests in to school (older two are 12 and 15 - so it matters for them) - hope school ok about it - genuine mistake on our part as its always the two weeks round the bank holidays.

My kids's school breaks up on the 1st April and so does the mindee mum's school as its a bank holiday on the 2nd.
I have a mindee from noon until 5.30pm that day, then I'm off down the cattery to put the cat in her 'chalet' and then we are off to Fort William in Scotland for a week

Back at work on the 19th April. I then find myself trying to work out when the next holiday is

I agree - I was amazed they break up the day before good friday. Unusual for it to fall that way.

Ours finish on 1st April and go back on 19th!! I finish on 1st and start back on 12th - not going away unfortunately, going to try and get garden ready with all the items I have purchased with my Capital Grant ie sand pit, climbing frame, wendy house etc. So hoping for good weather so I can set it up and lo's can enjoy it the second week!!!!

now we are on a '6 term year' Easter break is always the first 2 weeks of april. Which may or may not include Easter

We are holidaying in Cornwall and the school hols don't always coincide. Must have a look and see - means places are quieter if they are still at school there

Just had a look for next year and it has all changed again - I had better book next years hols now

There are no exams or anything these weeks and some schools have there work experience now so hopefully you should be ok

I like having the long weekend in the middle of the hols, it makes the working week shorter for both weeks holidays
