daughters ankle

Some of you may remember my daughter broke her ankle 2 weeks ago.

Well we went to the hospital today to have her plaster off, steri strips removed and more xrays.

Her scar from the operation is quiet long and really neat, but it was the xrays that shocked me...the before and after pics - she had made a right mess of her ankle and the screw they put in was about 3 inchs it looked huge on the xray!

Really neat job though - I think its amazing what they can do.

Another 4 weeks of plaster then she should be ok

Glad things are healing well even if the screw looks a bit scary!

Soon be back on her feet and careful too I hope
