This is an interesting thread...way better than my intro thread, so here goes:

*I've been married for 22 days as of the date of this post.

*There is a whole series of children's picture books worked out in my head, about the dog of the little girl for whom I nanny. Someday I hope to put them to paper.

*Halloween is my favorite day of the year.

*I can bake cakes that make people swoon.

*My very first email address (back in ooh, 1996) was "xphile@.....", because I was such a fan of the show. Now I wonder what I was thinking.

*I used to weigh over 300 pounds.

*I working on studying my fourth language (French), and hope to move on then to either Arabic or Russian.

*I'm terribly allergic to cats, but have found one in my neighbourhood that doesn't bother me!

*I love going to the cinema, to an insane degree. When I was at uni, I would go sometimes with my best friend's boyfriend (who was also a movie nut) and see 3 or 4 movies in a row.

*I once kissed a police officer while being arrested.

I'm so honest I'm having trouble thinking of 3.

1. I'm not superstitious at all, pig headed and will walk under ladders just to be damn right awkward

2. I like my own space and doing my own thing

3. I adore chocolate and will happily eat up a massive bar by myself

4. As soon as the kids are in bed at 8pm I'm in my PJ's and on here

5. I'm incredibly lazy and hate housework

6. I only make my bed when I get in it

7. My bedroom is half trashed as when my ex left I decided to rip up the carpet and strip the wallls. I now 2yrs on have half stripped walls, barefloor boards and piles of clothes as no wardrobe.

8. I don't iron unless absolutely necessary

9. I'm constantly planning my next move

10. I wish I was on a desert island with no worries in the world.

Ooh...ditto with the ironing. I have an "ironing basket" that some of my shirts seem to live in.

As for the police officer thing, it was a few years ago, when I was still in the States and was being arrested for supposed "unlawful" distribution of material. (We were petitioning to get a candidate on an election ballot). The officer had completely broken procedure, refused to let me get my work partner, who had the documents he wanted to see, and was just basically a (insert bad word here). When he began to restrain me and another girl, I kissed him on the cheek and said that I was pleased because I was going to sue his *** and give the money to the party we were representing.
