Default Weekly Chat Monday 13th June

    Good morning all!

Hope you had a good weekend. I'm not sure what I did, but I seemed to be busy and have a pile of jobs left for today! Doh! Just remembered! DH and I went to see Crowded House in concert on Saturday night. Very good, but goodness me ... they're a bit older than I remembered.. but then ... so am I

We're busy with lots of 'wild' activities for 30 days wild, but to be honest, we're usually to be found outside, doing nature based activities!

I've just remembered that it's Father's Day on Sunday! ... need to make some cards with the children! Eeek! Does
anyone have any ideas for quick and easy cards for little ones?

Have a good, safe, happy and sunny week everyone.

Morning everyone. Had a great weekend. Spent a nice day in the garden on Saturday getting the annuals I’ve grown into the beds. Yesterday we went to see the ABBA voyage with their avatars on stage. It was brilliant. Didn’t stop singing for the whole 90 minutes. They actually came on stage right at the end and took a bow. They look old too
Father’s Day crafts here today as well. We are doing sand art photo frames with photos of each child with their daddies. Have a good day

I hope everyone has been enjoying the glorious weather this week

We’re out in the garden now and the children are playing happily at the water table. I’ve put it in the shade so hopefully that’ll give them some protection from the sun, when it comes out. It’s a bit cloudy at the moment but the sun is starting to break through the clouds and it’s warming up nicely.

We’ve been very excited this week to see our little Blue Tits out and about. Their parents had been nesting in an old bird box we’ve got in a tree. We’d spotted them flying backwards and forwards so I was hoping we’d see some babies. Earlier in the week we saw 4 small blue tits at one of the bird feeders, so I’m guessing that’s them. The children have been using the camera to try and take photos of them. So far we’ve got lots of pictures of the trees, the sky, the ground and one child’s face

Our neighbours had blue tits in a nest box. Parents were busy keeping them feed but neighbour told me yesterday that a cat had got them all. It wasn’t my cat had he’s not fast or agile another now but we had an awful lot of crows flying around and I wondered if it was them rather than a cat. No work today so I’ll continue putting my seedlings out into the borders
    Have a good weekend
