Operation ‘Let’s Get Christmas Sorted’ has begun!
I’m up, I’m dressed, I’m fuelled by coffee (even if it is decaf) and I’m ready to go…once the shops open
I’ve got a list of what I need to buy and I’m not coming home till I’ve got everything on it. I’ve promised myself an afternoon nap if I’m home before it gets dark, so that’s my incentive to get in, get the job done and get out.
One of my sons has just come back from being abroad and is in quarantine until he gets his day 2 PCR result back. I’ve given him the job of sorting anything that can be done online. It’s all hands on deck
Enjoy your days everyone. Hopefully they’ll be more peaceful than mine

Good luck Mouse!
I / We just need to do a mini food shop for veg and salad bits, deliver a few cards, send online Christmas Cards, wrap presents and tidy up! / finish decorating for Christmas! .. but I'm waiting till I finish work on Tuesday, so I can pack playroom away, and put everything else IN the playroom!
Oh and Christmas cake needs marzipan and icing, and I need to make mince pies and choc log.
Sure I'll think of something else too!

Hope you got everything on your list Mouse.
DS2 came home from uni yesterday, today I have been checking who has what for Christmas and have realised I still need a couple of things. I have wrapped a lot of the presents, I have a few cards to write which will be hand delivered. Currently doing the ironing and making sure the house is in some sort of readiness for work tomorrow. We were supposed to be visiting family this afternoon but we have had notification of a delivery this afternoon which we need to be in for so have to stay in and wait! Fingers crossed we won't need any more food shopping as should be having Christmas with DS1 and his partner unless Boris makes any changes.
I feel this week will be a bit of a whirlwind with work and then delivering presents in the evenings!
