    Default Firework Friday!

    How's your day been?

I had a lovely lie in this morning, then DH and I went to do a food shop. I made the mistake of not eating before I went, so I was hungry while I was shopping and ended up buying far too many treats! This is why I normally do my food shopping online

When we first went out I was saying how warm it was in the sun. By the time we came out of the shop, it was freezing. I put the heating on when we got home but I still haven't warmed through. I can't decide whether to go and grab a blanket or whether to just get into bed to watch TV!

Have you had many fireworks near you? It seems quite quiet here this year. There have been a few going off but nowhere near as many as normal. I wonder if there'll be more tomorrow night. The cats were a bit jumpier than they are usually, so I've gave them some catnip toys. They're now so chilled out they're fast asleep and totally oblivious to it all

Enjoy the rest of your evening everyone

    It's cold tonight!

I haven't heard nearly as many fireworks as usual tonight.

We went for a walk around a local walled garden this morning and it was lovely and sunny but chilly.

I didn't do any firework stuff with the children today... I decided to wait till next week when they've all seen fireworks etc.

It seems quiet here too, although it is only our 3rd bonfire night here - the first one was ruined by floods so most places had to cancel events, the second one was lockdown and then tonight - so I don't know if it is quieter than 'usual' or not. Having said that, one of my mums did say that the local event is having silent/quiet fireworks this year, which would be lovely!

We've just ordered our Christmas food. We just happened to look online and saw that a lot of the stuff in m and s has sold out - so we ordered quickly. We haven't ordered meat though.
