    Default Shampoo Bars

Does anyone use shampoo bars instead of bottles of shampoo?

    How do you find them?

I'm thinking of switching in order to cut down on plastic bottles.

I tried one years ago but it didn't suit my hair. I have thought about giving them another try because I'm sure they've improved since I last tried one.

I have been thinking about trying them too as I am making a real conscious effort to reduce our plastic waste.

DD and I tried them. We've both got long hair and it wasn't great.

I’ve got long hair and didn’t get on with them, but that was several years ago. Maybe they have conditioner ones now?

DD and I tried a coconut shampoo bar and we love it! It was £4 and so will work out cheaper than our old shampoo (we always used the cheapest shampoo we could find). Next time I go to the garden centre where we got it from I'm going to get the conditioner bar, but I'm not sure how well that will work because my hair gets ridiculously tangled.

I've been using one from Nuddy. The reviews were mostly good so I hoped it would be ok. It just didn't rinse very well out of my hair so I felt like I had to wash my hair everyday. I've been using it as a body soap instead and it's very good at that!
