Default All covid restrictions to end next week

Are you relieved or worried that all restrictions will be coming to an end?

Will you go back to 'normal' or keep some of the restrictions yourself?

From a personal point of view, I'll probably still wear a mask when I'm in shops and busy places, but not when I'm walking around, even inside the shopping centre. I'll also try to avoid crowds, but then I've never liked them anyway!

From a work point of view, I'm still planning on doing doorstep handovers, which I did way before covid, but I'll be more relaxed about parents coming in for settling in sessions. I'm also looking forward to getting back to toddler groups in September and going to in-person training sessions.

I'm happy with restrictions ending and I'll probably still wear a mask in busy places. (and I've never been that keen on crowds either!)

I just wish they'd stop the need to isolate if a close contact now. I read a thing about how we've got to treat it like norovirus rather than flu! So any symptoms and you isolate until you're better, with everyone doing lots of hand washing etc.

I'm going to keep to doorstep handovers, but i was pretty much doing that anyway. Think I'm also going to try to keep to no parents at settling sessions, as I've found children have been looking less for parents, as they are not expecting them to be around.

I think I will wear a mask for now when shopping but to be honest my shopping habits have changed since Covid and we now have a weekly food delivery, I only pop in to Home Bargains every couple of weeks to stock up on cleaning supplies and I haven't really done any clothes shopping for ages.

I have always done door step handovers as I have found they work better rather than trying to usher people out.

I am looking forward to in person training as I have missed that socialisation and hopefully getting back to a couple of groups we used to attend.

Same as you people masks on transport/ busy places and doorstep hand overs as they work so much better.

Trying to feel relaxed about it all. Had a child go home with a temperature yesterday. Today they are staying off though parent said ( as I’m afraid a lot do); fine all evening ,ate well and slept all night. Definitely wasn’t well when I had them.
