    Default Good morning Tuesday

It's cold, wet and windy this morning and the children are argumentative and loud. I wonder if anyone has ever done any scientific research into weather and children's behaviour. I know we all know how their behaviour changes with the weather, but it would be good to see scientific proof

I have one little boy who is being particularly disruptive today. I've had to stop him snatching toys a few times already and he gives me the most evil look. I turned round earlier on and he was just stood there glaring at me. It's quite unnerving!

Yesterday my son's girlfriend tested positive for covid, so they're isolating for 10 days (they don't live with us). My son isn't happy. He's had covid, has had both his vaccinations and has had negative lateral flow tests and PCR test. His work really aren't happy with him, but there's nothing he can do. The worst part is he's going to be in isolation for his birthday next week!

What's everyone up to today? We're just finished snack time and now we're going out for a run around the garden. I think everyone needs to run off some energy!

Have fun, whatever you're up to.

Well .... we did the school run ready for the rain ... and the sun shone!

We played inside, had a story, sang songs and we've been outside for past hour or more, playing in the sand, with lots of comments about how much water there was! The sun is blazing down, despite some very dark grey clouds!

All our jugs etc were full of water, as is my water tray, which I emptied on Thursday night! ... must be at least 4 inches of water in it! They've all been very busy making potions, and my new little one has been eating the sand!

She's doing brilliantly now. 5 /10 mins worth of cuddles and moaning on arrival, and then she potters off! She likes to be with everyone, and hates nappy changes! Think she thinks she's 4 not just 1!

I agree with the weather and children's behaviour! ... wind drives them loopy, and I've recently been told a full moon affects them too!

Hope your DSs girlfriend isn't too poorly Mouse. How frustrating he has to isolate.

We have had it all today rain/wind and now sunshine. I have one off today due to being ill so the other two are happily playing together. They are both off to school in September and I listened to them chatting about how nice it was not having X here today as they are so annoying I have been trying to catch up with some admin.

Mouse hope your son's girlfriend is ok, my youngest has just had to isolate twice in succession as one person in their flat tested positive then someone else went down with it and he had to start all over again!

    We've had all weathers too.

Pixie that's quite funny what your little mindees said.

We've done some painting - I had to keep reminding my new one that we don't walk around with paintbrushes...

How old is your new one loocyloo? It's nice that she is starting to settle.
